Dendrobium officinale, also known as Dendrobium officinale Kimura et Migo and Yunnan officinale, belongs to Dendrobium of Orchidaceae. The stem is upright, cylindrical, with two rows of leaves, papery, oblong, needle shaped, and racemes are often issued from the upper part of the old stem with fallen leaves, with 2-3 flowers.
